Join us on the Art Trail of the Kennebunks for a blacksmithing demo on the Benson Forge at the Kennebunkport Historical Society. Bryan will be working on the metal strap for his sendai, a Japanese wood support & clamp used to shape and file blades using a sen (a metal scraper used for rough shaping) & file, along with some Japanese style rolled nails or blades.

There'll also be an art sale & demonstrations by local artisans. So come and enjoy a warm summer night with art & fire! Plus check out the Boathouse where metal artist Ann Thompson is teaching Beginning Metal Arts, one day art workshops & has drop-in art days for the kids this summer.
